Hello, Luca here! Originally from Hong Kong, I’m currently a Second-year Design student at the University of Pennsylvania. My work is headlined by bold and zany characters, monochrome ink, pop-culture dynamism, and a deep-rooted East Asian philosophy.

The following philosophies guide me in art, design, and daily life. By the end, we return to our everyday worlds with a fresh perspective that recognizes not only the tedium and trouble, but also the possibilities.
Wabi-Sabi / admiring imperfection. A beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Graciously accepting your own and others’ flaws.
Ma / negative space. Finding form in emptiness. The silence between musical notes in a composition, or a much needed tea-break in the midst of a busy day.
Ikigai / a reason for being. To define and practice your purpose in life. The idea that everyone has a calling to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.
